ABOUT THE PUBLIC RELATIONS UNIT

The Public Relations (PR) Unit manages the Institute's image, reputation, and communications with the public, media, and stakeholders. It handles crisis management, press relations, content creation, and internal communications to foster positive public perception and trust

The focus of Public Relations Unit is to project an enviable image of the Institute at all times and coordinates its liaising activities for the fulfilment of the Institute’s mandate.

Unit Objectives

To promote Institute programmes and services to the public.

To facilitate support or assist local national and international media with news gathering, analysis and dissemination.

To enhance dissemination of agricultural technologies through distribution of publications, extension/farmers guide and leaflets.

To coordinate trade fairs, exhibitions, field days, excursion and related activities of the Institute.

To participate in workshops, conferences, seminars and other scientific fora in the Institute.
