The dynamics of the research world place much emphasis on adequate use of Information and Communication Technology in all aspects of research activities for effective service delivery. In the same vein, there is a fast evolving perception of research as a global community whereby research Institutes are expected to keep with the global pace in agricultural research. The Information and Technology Unit (ITU) of the Institute has the mandate of providing cutting-edge ICT-based services for effective research and extension service delivery. The Unit also deploys its human and material resources for effective connection of the Institute with the global agricultural research community.
